Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Shipping methods

Orders are shipped from our suppliers' facilities or our consolidation warehouse using established international and domestic carriers. Available methods depend on order size and destination:

Transit times are estimates and exclude production lead time and customs clearance.

2. Shipping costs and terms

• Shipping costs are quoted separately and shown on the proforma invoice.
• Shipping terms (Incoterms, e.g. FOB, CIF, DDP) are stated on each quotation and invoice.
• Unless shipped DDP, the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for import duties, taxes and customs brokerage in the destination country.
• For UK customers this means UK import duty and import VAT are payable to HMRC on arrival unless DDP terms are agreed. VAT-registered UK buyers may reclaim import VAT in the normal way.
• Every UK shipment is accompanied by the commercial invoice and commodity codes required for UK customs clearance.

3. Documentation and tracking

Every shipment is accompanied by a commercial invoice and packing list. A tracking number or bill of lading is provided by email when the goods leave the origin facility.

4. Inspection on delivery

Please inspect goods on arrival. Report any shortage, transit damage or quality defect in writing to admin@vintage-art.online within 7 days of delivery, quoting the invoice number and attaching photographs. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

5. Defective or incorrect goods

If goods are confirmed to be defective, damaged in transit or not as ordered, we will, at our option:

• replace the affected items at no additional cost;
• issue a credit note against your next order; or
• refund the value of the affected items to the originating bank account.

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval and are returned only to the bank account from which payment was originally received.

6. Returns for other reasons

Because products are manufactured and purchased in wholesale quantities, we do not accept returns for change of mind, overstock or resale performance. Any exception must be agreed in writing before goods are returned and may be subject to a restocking fee.

7. Return shipping

Approved returns must be shipped in original packaging to the address we provide. For confirmed defects or errors we cover the cost of return shipping; for any agreed non-defect return the customer bears return shipping costs.
